OUR JOURNEY TO GREATNESS

It is with great pride, gratitude, and excitement that I return to Stonewall Tell Elementary School as your Principal. Having previously served this remarkable community as a classroom teacher for twelve years, I am honored to now lead a school that continues to exemplify excellence in academics, the arts, school culture, and community engagement. I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, families, and community stakeholders as we continue our journey of greatness together.

As an educator with more than 25 years of experience, I am deeply committed to the success and well-being of every child. Throughout my career, I have dedicated myself to educating, inspiring, advocating for, and empowering students while supporting educators in creating engaging and meaningful learning experiences.

Stonewall Tell Elementary has an extraordinary legacy of achievement. Our school has been recognized as a Georgia Title I Reward School, a distinction awarded to high-performing Title I schools that demonstrate exceptional student achievement and progress. This designation reflects our commitment to academic excellence and our belief that all students can achieve at high levels.

Our school has also been named a PBIS Distinguished School for four consecutive years, highlighting our commitment to creating a positive, safe, and supportive learning environment where students thrive. We are proud recipients of the U.S. News & World Report Best Elementary School Award for both 2025 and 2026, affirming the outstanding work of our students, staff, and families.

In addition, Stonewall Tell has earned recognition as a National BETA School of Distinction, celebrating our dedication to academic achievement, leadership development, character, and service. We are equally proud of our Georgia Department of Education Climate Star Rating of 4.75 out of 5 stars, which reflects the strong relationships, positive culture, and supportive environment that define our school community.

Our students continue to excel beyond the classroom as well. Stonewall Tell has produced state winners in the PTA Reflections Contest for the past two consecutive years, showcasing the incredible creativity, talent, and artistic expression of our scholars. We are also honored to currently feature "Collaborative Creatures," a traveling art exhibition developed in partnership with Tri-Cities High School, which celebrates artistic collaboration, creativity, and the power of connecting learners across grade levels.

At the heart of our success are the strong relationships we build with one another. I believe that meaningful partnerships between home and school are essential to student achievement. As your principal, I will continue striving to ensure that every student feels valued, every family feels welcomed, and every staff member feels supported as we work together to provide exceptional opportunities for all children.
