Mr. Latimore's career in Atlanta Public Schools spanned three different school settings where he contributed to countless students, families, committees, and leadership teams.

Mr. Latimore is a proud alumnus of The Clark Atlanta University.  Upon graduation, Mr. Latimore continued his Education at Troy University and Georgia State University, where he received his Masters' Degree, Educational Specialist Degree, and Educational Leadership add-on respectfully.  He has also received endorsements in Reading, ESOL, K-5 Science, and Teacher Support Systems. Additionally, Mr. Latimore has been awarded the "National Council Teachers of English (NCTE) Early Career Educator of Color Leadership Award." Before departing from his former school, he was also named the 2021 - 2022 Support Person of the Year at his former school.

He recently received a Certificate in School Leadership and Management from Harvard Graduate School of Education.  He also has participated in the Aspiring Leaders Program with Georgia State University and Atlanta Public Schools. In 2023, Mr. Latimore completed several Principal preparation programs that included Fulton County Schools' Aspiring Principal Pathway, Georgia Governor's School Leadership Academy, Aspiring Principal Program, and Georgia State University, The Principal's Center, Aspiring Principal Institute. He is currently enrolled in Georgia State University pursing a doctorate in Educational Leadership.
